Our History
JNL was founded drawing expertise through Quincaillerie Dabeeco – a Hardware store in operation since 1989, at St Jean Rd, Quatre-Bornes, Mauritius. JNL becomes the 1st major importer of certified high quality PVC fittings – sold under the JNL Brand.
November 2000
Aquafit range of products are introduced to the Mauritius construction market. Products range from Brass plumbing fittings, Sanitary wares and Sanitary fittings.
2003
JNL developed and introduced a unique mould of Rainwater gutter systems adapted to the local climate. The JNL ‘Dalo’ has since then been a best-selling product. The range is later enhanced by the addition of square gutters.
2005
JNL introduced Robinson Spray Paints and RN-90 Anti-Rust Lubricant. Robinson boasts a portfolio of 20 aerosol spray colours which delivers quality spray paints to end users.
2006
JNL diversifies into Silicone, Sealants and Adhesives range of products through the introduction of Vtech. The latter is an amalgamation of American standard products such as PVC/CPVC Glue, Paint Remover and Silicone Sealants amongst many others.
2008
JNL becomes the sole distributor for Rifeng in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean. Rifeng is a world leading supplier in multilayer pipes and fittings.
2011
JNL joins the group of Rifeng Top 20 Global Distributor and is invited for the Rifeng Global Conference, held in China, in April 2015.
2015
JNL introduces Seakoo water pumps to the Mauritian market. The innovative aspect of being a low-noise water pump proves to be very popular. JNL is enlisted as a registered supplier for the Government Water Pump Grant Scheme.
2018
JNL moves to its newly built head office, in Vacoas-Phoenix. JNL is now able to better service its clients.
2019
JNL introduces a range of products from Italy and Greece, such as Adflex, Brassform and Tricotop.
2022
JNL becomes the official distributor of the highly prestigious brands, Yale and Union locks, in Mauritius. JNL also add STA Standard Valves to its portfolio of brands.
